- To type in latex, see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/latex/
- For those of you who want to convert your latex code into a post, perhaps you would like to try LaTeX2WP. The advantage is: wordpress doesn’t support equation numbering and theorem type environment, so it’s a nice idea to use a script to convert the latex code into html code. LaTeX2WP can be run in the computers in our offices, but you have to download Python first. For the computers in the offices, after you’ve installed it, you have to set the path. See if this pic makes sense to you (e.g. my installation folder is C:\Python27).
You can even customize the program a bit, e.g. if you are used to type “\to” instead of “\rightarrow”, you can open the file (by a text editor) “latex2wpstyle.py” and edit the variable M in the file (in the last few lines), see this pic for reference.
You can ask Ken if you are not very sure how to use it.
Enjoy! : )
